The library is committed to providing its customers with the latest advances in information technology.  The Internet, being the vast network of global resources, offers information of any kind, both educational and recreational.

Taking into account the ever-evolving nature of the Internet and the absence of any governing body, the Library policy requires that all users:

 
Fee-based Services Policy

The Medical Library maintains a fee based service for non ACT Health Staff and students who wish to use the library.

  • Membership fee includes:
  • Borrowing rights – 5 items for 2 weeks, with the option of one renewal
  • Access to electronic resources from within the Library - NO remote access
  • Training in the use of the databases
  • Library newsletter
 
Reader Services Policy
Library Policies

The Library's Reader Services section includes Reference Services, Loans and Document Supply.

The Library is staffed between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. After hours access is available to staff via their Proximity Cards. Access to the library's electronic resources is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via intranet computers or from off-site using the Remote Login.

 
Study Rooms Policy
Library Policies

The Study rooms may be booked for groups study session’s only, not personal use. The maximum time allocation for booking the rooms is two hours. The rooms are available from 8.30 to 5.00 Monday to Friday.
