Conditions of use

Library users must comply with copyright legislative requirements and must not copy, print, scan, download or record library material in any manner that infringes the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

Licenced resources are available only to those users specified by the providers of those services.

Most e-resources, databases and point-of-care tools subscribed to by the ACT Health Library are restricted to the core user group of CHS and ACTHD staff for licensing reasons.

Library users with access to licensed resources must comply with licence requirements
governing their use. Licence restrictions are displayed for each resource under 'Licensing Terms’ in the Library catalogue.

Licenced resources may only be used for personal clinical, educational or research purposes and may not be used for commercial purposes. In some cases licences may be more lenient and in other cases more restrictive. Please contact Collections & Systems Management for advice.
