Why register? What does registration allow me to do?

The Library provides resources and services to staff of the Canberra Hospital and Health Services, and all ACT Health Directorate staff located off the Canberra Hospital site.

Being an ACT Health staff member does not mean you are automatically a member of the Library.

Registration provides access to Library resources from home or elsewhere; access to Document Delivery for ordering articles not held in our collection; borrowing a maximum of 5 books for 2 weeks, with 1 renewal; and borrowing an iPad for 2 weeks or longer.

How do I join the library?

ACT Health staff can come into the Library and register OR complete the Staff Registration form and, together with a photocopy of your ACT Health ID,  fax it to 6244 3388 or scan and email to tch.library@act.gov.au. We will email your Library Barcode and Password details to you.

Registered borrowers are able to view their loans, renew, place a hold, search and reserve items  via “My Library Account”.  Always remember to Logout when you have finished your transactions to maintain the security of your information.
